My Review:

Am I the only one who thinks the beginning was rushed? I mean, let’s be honest, of course with lines like ‘When I found my husband at the bottom of the floor..’ we are all hooked. But within the first five pages, it just seemed like something was missing. The only time it got better was when we were introduced to Blue. But that wasn’t enough to satisfy me.

The main character, Tanya Dubois, was poorly developed. I felt she had no personality and especially since she kept trying new identities and figure out who she is, there was NOTHING. And the biggest problem, you couldn’t sympathize with her throughout the whole book. I feel like The Passenger just went on and on and on and the great content that you keep expecting just wasn’t there. Overall, I think I was expecting some Big Bang at the end and it just never came.

After everything I have heard about this book, I really really expected to like it instantly. But I didn’t and I still can’t say that it was amazing. Could it be due to my love for a good thriller and this one just didn’t do it for me? Probably. Plus the fact this was hardly a thriller. I wish I could say I enjoyed this one.
